How to Finance Tinkergarten
Find a flexible way to pay for Tinkergarten.
OPTION 1
Easy and flexible options
2 Methods: When you subscribe to Tinkergarten Plus or Pro plans, you can choose to pay by either:
* Using any major credit card
* Sending an invoice to someone who will pay your subscription for you.
Monthly or Annual: You can pay for your Tinkergarten membership on either a monthly or annual basis. When you pay on an annual basis, you only pay for 11 of the 12 months per year (savings that range from 9-15%, depending on the plan).
OPTION 2
Schools and early learning centers
We make it easy to send an invoice to whomever at your school, district or learning center approves and pays for teacher resources, so they can pay for your Tinkergarten membership. Just look for the “invoice” option when you sign up.
If you’d like to pay by invoice, be prepared with the email address and name of whomever should receive your invoice. Your subscription will be activated right away, and you will have 30 days for that invoice to be paid. We’ll send reminders, too!
OPTION 3
Finding other sponsors
There are many types of sponsors who can subsidize the cost of your membership. For example, you may be able to agree with a community partner to include your classes as part of their offerings, and they may subsidize the cost of your membership as part of that arrangement.
Examples of such sponsors could include: a local parks and recreation department; a local chapter of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America or YMCA; the local library or community center; a school that wants to offer extension program for younger kids; a place of worship; an employer or another local corporation—any group who wants to support families and children.
It all starts with your creativity! Just explain how you envision bringing Tinkergarten to your community, and work out an arrangement with the sponsor to subsidize your membership. Then, you can either pay and ask your sponsor for reimbursement or use the invoice option to send an invoice to your sponsor when you subscribe.

Sharing the cost

Raising funds
Some teachers also raise funds to cover their Tinkergarten subscriptions and even some teaching materials using platforms such as Donors Choose or Go Fund Me. Some teachers find this is a way to spread the word that Tinkergarten is coming to the community, too!
