Tinkergarten’s kids classes are age appropriate for 18 month - 8 year olds, and are run by parents and other community members. Classes take place in Belfair State Park, Theler Wetlands / Nature Trails, Manitou Park, Wright Park, Nisqually Wildlife Refuge, Titlow Park, Sehmel Homestead Park, Franklin Park, Tacoma Nature Center, Kobayashi Park, Dupont Powderworks Park, Summer Cove, Harry Todd Park, Spanaway Lake Park, Frontier Park , Marvista Park , Nelson Nature Park, Bradley Lake Park, Wapato Park, a Tacoma area park, Bresemann Forest, South Hill Community Park, Forest Park (Tehaleh), Lakeland Hills Park, A Puyallup Area Park, Clarks Creek Park, Wildwood Park, View Place, Seahurst Park: Lower Lot, Lake Meridian Park, Wonderwood Park, Cochrane Memorial Park, and Priest Point Park, and more!
Tinkergarten’s play-based learning curriculum of outdoor activities is the best way for kids to experience South End, Pierce in the summer. Moms, dads and their kids can enroll in a class and join one of our existing playgroups, or improve their own playgroup by becoming a Tinkergarten leader.
