Tinkergarten’s kids classes are age appropriate for 18 month - 8 year olds, and are run by parents and other community members. Classes take place in Lawson Park, LaBagh Woods, Thatcher Woods, Thaddeus S. “Ted” Lechowicz Woods, Oz Park, Welles Park, Grant Park, Unity Park, Palmer Square Park, Eggers Grove, Taylor Park, Humboldt Park, Horner Park, Robinhood Park, McKinley Park Play Garden, McKinley Park Play Garden, Ridge Park, Jackson Park (Garden of The Phoenix), Glenview Woods, Robbins Park, Northbrook Village Green, Izaak Walton Preserve, Wampum Lake, A Downers Grove area park, Ty Warner Park, Veterans Memorial Park, Twin Lakes Park, Patriots Park, Crete Bike Trail, Memorial Park, Castaldo Park, Hickory Creek Preserve - LaPorte Road Access, St. John's United Church of Christ, Kingston Park, Northside Park, a Wheaton area park, and Lincoln Marsh, and more!
Tinkergarten’s play-based learning curriculum of outdoor activities is the best way for kids to experience Hegewisch, Cook in the winter. Moms, dads and their kids can enroll in a class and join one of our existing playgroups, or improve their own playgroup by becoming a Tinkergarten leader. Join the other parents and kids in Cook to play and learn outdoors together!
