Tinkergarten’s kids classes are age appropriate for 18 month - 8 year olds, and are run by parents and other community members. Classes take place in Norwood Park, Potomac Overlook Park, Sligo-Dennis Avenue Park, Lincoln Park, Fort Hunt Park, Hidden Pond Park, Meadowbrook/Candy Cane City Park, Wheaton Regional Park, US National Arboretum, Lincoln Park, (DUPLICATE), Buck Branch Park, Van Dyck Park, Rutherford Park, Opal Daniels Memorial Park, Fort Ward Park, McLean Central Park, Kingman Island, Troy Park, Falls Road Local Park, Rockville Civic Center Park, Lake Accotink Park, Cabin John Local Park, Bluemont Park, Westmoreland Park, a Fairfax area park, Lewis Village Community Park Pavilion, Occoquan Regional Park , Big Pines Park, Greenbriar Park, Big Pines Local Park, Lake Needwood, Lake Ridge Tot Lot, and Trailside Park, and more!
Tinkergarten’s play-based learning curriculum of outdoor activities is the best way for kids to experience Bluemont, Arlington in the winter. Moms, dads and their kids can enroll in a class and join one of our existing playgroups, or improve their own playgroup by becoming a Tinkergarten leader.
